What is Karting du Mont-Blanc

The Karting du Mont-Blanc is an outdoor karting complex located at the Passy leisure center (74190), by the lake between Sallanches and Chamonix. Created in 1994, this family business run by the Fontaine family offers a unique experience: driving high-performance karts against the exceptional panorama of the Mont-Blanc massif, the highest peak in Western Europe (4,810 m).

The 750-meter track, considered quite technical with good variation in driving rhythm, features 270cc single-seater karts that can reach up to 75 km/h for experienced adults. Two-seater karts are also available to share the experience with family. The educational team composed of Christian, David and Steeve Fontaine supervises you and gives you tips to progress in driving.

What distinguishes Karting du Mont-Blanc from other circuits in Haute-Savoie is its unique landscape setting in France for a karting activity: the track is located at the foot of the massif, offering a breathtaking view of the Alpine peaks. Ideal for a convivial moment with family or friends, to complement a stay in the Pays du Mont-Blanc, or as an alternative on a rainy day. The circuit also hosts personalized events: corporate seminars, birthdays, endurance challenges.

Season: February-October (weather dependent). Duration: 10 min per session. Children's karts: from 7 years old and 1.25 m. Prices: check kartingdumontblanc.com. Accessibility: Partial. Pets allowed on leash.
