Les Jardins Secrets is a remarkable garden in Vaulx, about fifteen minutes north of Annecy. Classified 'Remarkable Garden' by the French Ministry of Culture, the site unfolds across 7000 m² with around thirty garden spaces inspired by Middle-Eastern patios: inner courtyards, fountains, carved wooden kiosks, hedged walks, mosaics. It is the work of a passionate family who built this unique place over decades.
The visit follows your own rhythm along a suggested route linking the 33 spaces: Mediterranean patios, water garden, intimate alcoves, trompe-l'œil views. Plan 1h30 to 2h30 depending on pace. A tea room offers a tasty break, and a shop sells crafts and plants. The site also hosts weddings and private events, and offers guided visits on request.
