Indoor 1,456 m² ice rink at the Palais des Sports in Morzine — public sessions, skate rental, kids area. Open winter and summer.

The Morzine Ice Rink is the ice-skating facility of the Morzine-Avoriaz resort, in Haute-Savoie. Located in the heart of the resort, it welcomes the public for free skating, the ice school (lessons for children and adults), ice hockey sessions (local club) and themed events during the season. The building includes stands, a skate rental counter (various sizes, kids' skates available), changing rooms and a snack bar.
Who is it for? The rink is aimed at families with children from age 4-5, groups of friends, school groups and sports clubs. Beginners can take a lesson with an instructor (ice school or private), while experienced skaters enjoy free skating or join the local hockey club training. Disco-on-ice and themed nights run during winter school holidays, and some evening sessions are open in high season.
Practical info and access. Mainly open December to April (ski season); some years, the rink stays open in summer for a few weeks (per resort programme). Expect €5-10 for entry plus skate rental. Check exact hours and openings on the Morzine Tourist Office site. The rink is reachable on foot from the centre, by resort shuttle or by car (public car parks nearby). Combines well with a day's skiing and a meal in the village.
