Ecolorado Rafting runs rafting descents and other whitewater activities (hydrospeed, canoraft, airboat, mini-raft, stand-up paddle) on the Giffre, Arve, Dranse and Dora Baltea rivers from its two bases in Passy and Samoëns. Operating for over 20 years in the valley, the company has built a solid reputation for the quality of its supervision: all instructors are qualified, passionate kayakers who analyse the rivers daily.

Trips suit families and thrill-seekers alike, with levels matched to water flow and season. The Giffre, intense from May to June, becomes more playful in July-August, perfect for families; the Arve near Passy offers an ideal setting for beginners; the Dranse in the heart of Chablais features technical and powerful rapids. Safety gear (neoprene wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, paddle) is provided and regularly renewed. No prior experience is needed for discovery routes.

New for 2025–2026: the Passy base now has refurbished changing rooms, two outdoor showers, a picnic area with gas BBQ, a food truck and vast free parking. This infrastructure significantly improves comfort before and after descents. Groups of 6 to 7 people maximum per raft ensure personalised supervision and optimal safety. Ecolorado stands out for its commitment to never overload rafts, ensuring fun and safety on every trip.
