The Cité de l'Eau aquatic centre in Publier-Amphion is the inter-municipal water complex of the Pays d'Évian Vallée d'Abondance community. Set just steps from Lake Geneva, it offers more than 4,500 m² of facilities: a 25m six-lane sports pool, a fun pool, a paddling pool for toddlers, slides, a current river and a wellness area with sauna and hammam. It is one of the main indoor aquatic facilities of the Évian area, used by both locals and holidaymakers.

Activities and audiences. The centre welcomes serious swimmers (lanes reserved early morning and at certain times), families with children (fun area, paddling pool, slides), seniors (aquagym, dedicated slots) and school groups. Programme of coached activities: aquagym, aquabike, swimming school, parent-and-baby classes, water garden. The wellness area (sauna, hammam, sensory showers) is available with an extra fee and open to over-16s. Lifeguards are present at all times around the pools.
