What is Ablok Annecy (Argonay)

Ablok Annecy, located in Argonay in the activity zone north of the Annecy area, is an indoor bouldering gym known for its quality route-setting and friendly atmosphere. The concept is simple: only bouldering, ropeless climbing on 4-5 m walls with thick mat landings. 3D volumes, colour-coded circuits and distinct sectors allow everyone to progress from beginner grades (yellow/green) to expert circuits (black/purple).

Who is it for? Ablok welcomes all levels, from the curious newcomer to the experienced climber chasing demanding circuits. Group classes for kids/teens/adults, holiday courses, discovery sessions and birthday packages are on offer. No need to bring gear: shoes can be rented at the entrance and chalk is sold on site. The gym also has a training board (Moonboard or similar) to work on strength and movement.

Prices and access. Adult entry is around €13-15 at full rate, with monthly/yearly memberships and 10-entry cards. The gym is open daily, with extended evening and weekend hours. A bar/snack lets you refuel before or after your session. Easy access from Annecy (Argonay exit on the expressway) or Geneva via the A41.
