Annecy Mountain Guides brings together UIAGM mountain guides based in Annecy. Guided outings year-round: hiking, mountaineering, climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, skiing.

Annecy Mountain Guides is the historic guides office of Annecy, bringing together UIAGM-certified high mountain guides and mountain leaders. It offers year-round guided outings in the Bauges, Aravis, Mont-Blanc and Vanoise massifs, from family hiking to committed mountaineering, including climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, ski touring and ice climbing.
The offer is structured in two formats: à la carte group outings (fixed dates, small groups), ideal for trying a discipline or summit without organising logistics and equipment; and private outings on quote (one guide for a group or family), allowing you to customise objective, level and duration. Guides bring local expertise, collective technical equipment (rope, carabiners, helmet, harness depending on activity) and adapt the outing to weather and group level.
The office is also a valuable information hub for understanding mountain environments (snow conditions in winter, judging conditions, choosing an objective). Introduction courses: mountaineering, ski touring, multi-pitch climbing. Prices from around €60-100 per person for a half-day group outing, more for private outings and high-mountain ascents. Booking ahead is essential, especially in high season (July-August, February, weekends).
The office (contact point) is in central Annecy. From Geneva (~45 km): A41 exit Annecy-Nord — 40 min. Outings usually start at meeting points in the massifs (Bauges, Aravis, Mont-Blanc) — carpool or personal vehicle depending on outing.
Open in MapsCentral Annecy is reachable by train (Annecy SNCF station) and Sibra buses. Depending on the outing, personal transport is needed to the mountain meeting point.
Open in MapsCentral Annecy is well equipped for cycling with the greenway. Bike parking in town.
