Atome Climbing Annecy

Atome Climbing Annecy is an indoor climbing gym in Annecy, Haute-Savoie. The gym offers two complementary worlds: a route wall of several metres (often 15 metres and more) for lead climbing or top-rope, and a large bouldering area (rope-free climbing on thick mats, up to 4-5 m high) for pure technique and short sessions. Routes are regularly reset by the gym's route-setters to offer varied challenges at all levels, from beginner (grade 3-4) to advanced (7c+ and beyond).

Who is it for? Atome welcomes beginners and experienced climbers, families with children (often from age 6-8 depending on areas), groups of friends, students, business seminars and local climbing clubs. Group or private lessons let beginners learn safely (knot, belaying, falling), while advanced clinics target technique, endurance or outdoor climbing (preparation for the summer season). The gym has changing rooms, lockers and a friendly bar/coffee corner.

Practical info and access. Booking is generally not required — access is open for autonomous climbers (with insurance card and autonomy certificate). Expect €15-20 full entry, with student/child rates, gear packs (shoes + harness) and passes (10 entries, monthly, annual) at lower rates. For lessons and clinics, booking is essential. Changing rooms, showers, lockers. Combines well with a day in Annecy or a weekend of outdoor climbing in the massif.
