Manigod is a family-friendly, authentic village-resort in the Massif des Aravis, built around three areas: the village and its valley, the Col de la Croix Fry (main hub, shops and lifts) and the Col de Merdassier (a quieter sector).
Manigod's own ski area is linked ski-in/ski-out to that of La Clusaz, within the La Clusaz-Manigod ski area (Massif des Aravis), which offers a total of 85 pistes and 125 km of pistes, served by around fifty ski lifts, between 1 100 and 2 600 m in altitude. Manigod is home to the largest night skiing area in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc.
On the plateau de Beauregard, the Nordic ski area offers 36 km of cross-country ski trails as well as snowshoe areas. The Waouland, Opoualand and Loopland children's areas, sledging and the traditional paret game round out a family offering, while waymarked ski touring routes (Grand Crêt, Merdassier, Cabeau) are aimed at more experienced skiers.
Off the slopes, the resort offers the Devalkart de Manigod (rail luge), the Forêt Aventures tree-top adventure course and the viewpoint at the Col de la Croix-Fry. In summer, mountain biking, hiking towards the Sulens and the Charvin, the Merdassier outdoor swimming pool and the mountain pastures producing Reblochon, Chevrotin and Persillé cheeses round out your stay.
