What is Ponton de l'Embarcadère Wakepark
The Ponton de l'Embarcadère Wakepark is the main boat-towed wakeboard spot on Lake Annecy, set on the western shore at Saint-Jorioz. The central location, with easy access from the bay of Saint-Jorioz out to open water, makes it the reference site for towed water sports on the lake, with a fleet of boats dedicated to water-skiing and wakeboarding.
The school covers every boat-towed discipline: classic water-skiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing (recent addition), wakeskate and towed buoy for families. The instructors are FFSN-qualified. The early morning flat water is particularly well suited to technical wakeboarding, while afternoon boat waves and a more relaxed pace work well for family outings.
2026 prices: adult EUR 30-50 per session depending on the discipline, children's sessions available. Season: May to September. Hours: daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in summer. Partially accessible for visitors with reduced mobility (pontoon access).
