What is Criq'Parc

Criq'Parc is a tree playground for children aged 3 to 12, located in the forest at La Crique site, on the shore of Lake Annecy in Saint-Jorioz. All workshops are accessible independently, without harnesses, as the installations are less than one metre from the ground or surrounded by safety nets. Children move freely under the supervision of an accompanying adult.

The playground spans one hectare of forest and features around twenty fun workshops: tree courses, zip-lines, net maze, giant trampoline, tree cabins, net sea, serpent swing, and a new aerial course over 1.20 m high (reserved for older children). A Mini-Kids area welcomes 2–3 year-olds with age-appropriate games. An organic eco-snack (crêpes, savoury galettes, ice cream, local drinks) completes the offer on site.

Founded in 2017 by Etienne Andréys with an eco-responsible approach, Criq'Parc is part of the multi-activity La Crique site, which also includes a cove-shaped beach (free access), water sports rentals (paddle, kayak, pedalo), and Criq'Bloc (bouldering wall). The park organises seasonal events (treasure hunts, autumn festival, Easter and Halloween activities). Seasonal opening from late March to early November, Wednesdays, weekends and daily during school holidays, from 10am to 6pm.

From Annecy (~10 km, 15 min), take the D909A towards Saint-Jorioz/Faverges. At Saint-Jorioz, follow signs for 'La Crique' or 'Digue à Panade' towards the lake shore. Free car park on site (La Crique).

When to visit

When to visit

Criq'Parc is open from late March to early November, with peak season from mid-June to late August (daily) and reduced hours in April–May and September–October (Wednesdays, weekends and school holidays). Early mornings from 10am opening are quietest. Sunny afternoons in April–May and September offer moderate crowds and pleasant forest surroundings. In July–August, proximity to La Crique beach (same site) allows combining playground and swimming in the same half-day. Bring sun cream for workshops at forest edges, and dress appropriately for weather (no swimwear in the playground). Special events (Easter, Halloween, autumn festival) require advance booking.
Events : Recurring events: permanent treasure hunt in the maze (nature theme). Autumn festival late September (eco-creative workshop). Special Easter and Halloween activities (booking mandatory). Organic concerts at La Crique beach (adjacent, same site) every Friday evening July–August (separate from Criq'Parc but on the same site).
