Plage de Saint-Jorioz is the only large natural sand beach on Lake Annecy. Located on the west shore facing Dents de Lanfon and Tournette, it spans approximately 2,200 m² and combines fine sand beach (approx. 100 metres long) with vast shaded lawns. The municipal beach is open year-round: free access September to June, paid and lifeguarded access 1 July to 31 August from 9:30 to 17:30.
Certified Blue Flag since 2010, the beach guarantees high environmental standards: daily cleaning during season, sand renewal every four years, waste management and public awareness. It has also earned the Tourism and Disability label thanks to specific facilities: water access ramp and free provision of two amphibious wheelchairs (Tiralo and Hippocampe) in July–August.
The beach is equipped with a 3-level diving board (5 metres high) accessible by swimming from pontoons, a paddling pool and play area for young children, a beach-volleyball court and petanque pitch. A restaurant and snack bar are on site. Immediately nearby: Saint-Jorioz marina, the Reed Path trail, and the Lake Annecy cycle route (9 km to Annecy).

At Saint-Jorioz, turn left at the traffic light towards the beach (signposted). Large free car park in front of beach entrance. Warning: frequent congestion in summer evenings heading back to Annecy.
