Become a partnerAt Gruffy, south of Lake Annecy, the Nature Museum reveals Haute-Savoie's biodiversity across four spaces: naturalised wildlife, a glass-fronted hive and the history of beekeeping, a teaching garden of medicinal plants and a conservation orchard.

The Musée de la Nature at Gruffy is a privileged place to discover the biodiversity of Haute-Savoie, nestled between the southern shore of Lake Annecy, the Bauges range and the Semnoz. Located on route de Beauregard, it is organised into four complementary spaces that make it a very complete family outing, fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The "Wildlife" room takes visitors into the secret life of wild and domestic animals through hundreds of taxidermied species staged in their reconstructed habitats (forests, meadows, lakes). The bee room reveals the work of more than 30,000 worker and forager bees through a glass hive where you can watch honey being made in real time, alongside equipment illustrating the history of Savoyard beekeeping.
The outdoor educational garden brings together aromatic and medicinal plants and a forgotten-vegetable plot. The conservation orchard shelters apple, pear and plum trees of local heritage varieties, plus 5 active hives to understand the interaction between bees and nature. The museum is open to the general public during school holidays and by reservation for groups and schools all year. Single fee: €6 (free under 2).
