What is Plage de Talloires
The Plage de Talloires is a 250x200 m sand and lawn beach on Lake Annecy at Talloires-Montmin, with a paddling pool, diving boards, a slide and an integrated water-sports centre. With 440 parking spaces, it is one of the most equipped beaches on the lake.
The lakefront was redesigned during winter 2025-2026 (municipal order no. 46/2026), with new lawn, redrawn paths and modernised facilities, jointly funded by the village and the Grand Annecy authority. Reopening is scheduled for May 2026 for the summer season.
The beach has been free since 2025 (previously 2.50 EUR per visit), a notable shift compared to the Plage de l'Impérial in Annecy, which becomes paying in 2026. Lifeguards 20 June-30 August 2026 (10am-7pm). 2026 summer prices: adult free, child free. Blue Flag 2026: no. Step-free access: yes (ramp, showers).
