What is Plage d'Angon
The Plage d'Angon is a vast, shaded lawn beach on Lake Annecy at Talloires-Montmin. Set at the hamlet of Angon, 2 km south of the centre of Talloires, it offers a confidential, cool atmosphere away from the busier central Talloires beach, with mature trees, beach-volley and pétanque courts.
The beach faces an exceptional panorama: the Château de Duingt on its islet (11th century) and the western shore of Lake Annecy. Its south-east orientation means afternoon sun and a golden evening light, perfect for a relaxed swim or a picnic at the end of the day.
