The Cascade des Brochaux is a waterfall in the Chablais massif, located in Vallée d'Aulps in the municipality of Montriond, Haute-Savoie. With a total height of 30 meters, it features several drops that carve natural basins into the rock. Fed by the Dranse de Montriond, it lies less than 2 km from the Swiss border, at approximately 1,692 m altitude.
Accessible in 30 to 40 minutes on foot from the village of Les Lindarets — known for its free-roaming goats and traditional architecture — the waterfall is a popular spot for hikers and families. The trail winds through forest alongside the river to a viewpoint overlooking the falls. At the base of the waterfall is a natural pool for a refreshing break. The site is also served by the Refuge des Brochaux, open in summer and winter.
From Thonon-les-Bains (~35 km, 45 min), take D902 toward Morzine, then D228 toward Montriond and Les Lindarets. From Cluses (~25 km, 35 min), D902 then D228. Free parking at the village entrance. In July–August, traffic restrictions to Les Lindarets: park at Ardent car park and walk up (45 min) or use Ardent cable car + free shuttle train.
