What is Grand Parc d'Andilly

The Grand Parc d'Andilly is a family theme park set in the Forêt des Moulins at Andilly, just 25 minutes from Geneva and 35 minutes from Annecy. Spread over more than 15 hectares, it has been run since 1995 by the Le Petit Pays association and is ranked the 8th largest theme park in France by the specialist press.

The site offers four seasonal themed worlds: Les Grandes Médiévales d'Andilly (May medieval festival), Grand Parc d'Andilly summer (July–August), the Hameau du Père Noël at Saint-Blaise (spring, summer and winter) and the Grand Parc de Noël (October to January), alongside daily shows (night falconry, magic, fairground rides, farm animals) and elaborate hand-carved wooden settings unique in France.

The Hameau du Père Noël, open since 1989 in neighbouring Saint-Blaise, is one of the oldest permanent Christmas attractions in Europe. A free shuttle links the two sites in high season, and 2-park combo tickets let you visit both in a single day.

When to visit

When to visit

Grand Parc d'Andilly can be enjoyed across several seasons. The Médiévales (3rd weekend of May and Ascension weekend) draw crowds of families and history enthusiasts; arrive right at opening to catch the opening parade. Summer (4 July – 30 August 2026) is the park's peak season: play areas, animals, shows, generally fine weather. The Grand Parc de Noël (from 17 October 2026) plunges the site into winter magic with an ice rink and lights, especially enchanting at dusk. The Hameau du Père Noël in Saint-Blaise also opens for Easter (first and second weeks of April), a quieter format that delights young children.
Events : Four major annual cycles: Easter Hameau (04/04–19/04/2026), Andilly Médiévales (23, 24, 25, 30, 31 May 2026), Grand Parc d'Andilly summer (04/07–30/08/2026), Grand Parc de Noël and winter Hameau du Père Noël (17/10/2026–03/01/2027, closed 25/12 and 01/01).
