Via Ferrata du Parc Thermal, aerial route in three sections of increasing difficulty through the Bonnant gorges.

The Via Ferrata du Parc Thermal at Saint-Gervais-les-Bains is one of the most demanding routes in Haute-Savoie. Traced through the Bonnant gorges, it winds between waterfalls and vertical cliffs, offering a spectacular mineral setting just minutes from the village center. The route is divided into three sections of progressive difficulty (D, D+, TD+), secured by a continuous lifeline and punctuated by six impressive structures: three Nepalese footbridges (including one 43 meters long), a log footbridge, a beam and a monkey bridge.
Unlike introductory via ferratas, the Parc Thermal route is a mountain itinerary requiring excellent physical fitness, strong arm and core muscles, and confident exposure management. The route totals nearly 700 meters of cable and 130 meters of elevation gain, with many overhanging, traversing and even descending sections. Each section offers an escape route, allowing you to adapt the route to your level. Full equipment (harness, energy-absorbing double lanyard, helmet, gloves) is essential, and accompaniment by a guide from the Compagnie des Guides de Saint-Gervais is strongly recommended for the less experienced.
Open from 16 April to 23 November (weather permitting), this via ferrata offers total immersion in a unique aquatic and vertical environment in Haute-Savoie, just steps from the thermal baths and the Mont-Blanc Tramway.
From Chamonix or Megève, follow Saint-Gervais-les-Bains center. Recommended parking at Bettex gondola (free), then 15 min walk via the Châtelet ruins trail to the Thermal Park. Via start behind the thermal baths.
