What is Samoëns Disc Golf — Indiana Ventures

The Samoëns Disc Golf course, partly managed by Indiana Ventures, is an outdoor disc-golf course in the resort of Samoëns, at the heart of the Grand Massif. Disc golf involves throwing a disc (specialised frisbee) into a metal basket target, much like golf: each hole has a par, and the goal is to finish with the fewest throws.

The Samoëns course offers several holes across a rolling landscape with beautiful views of the surrounding massifs. Baskets are open all day during summer; tees are marked on site. For families or groups without discs, Indiana Ventures rents discs (driver, midrange, putter) and can run supervised introduction sessions on request.

The activity is free on open access — only optional disc rental is paid. Perfect for a friendly family half-day, alternating nature walking and technical throwing. Accessible from around age 8-10; children love the playful, treasure-hunt feel of the course. Walking shoes recommended (natural sometimes sloped terrain), water and cap in summer.
