What is Lac aux Dames Leisure Park

The Lac aux Dames Leisure Park is a 10-hectare leisure area at Samoëns, built around two adjoining lakes. Set away from the village centre, it offers a calm, safe environment, away from car traffic, ideal for families and groups of friends. The park is open all year and free to enter.

The site offers a wide range of activities: supervised swimming in the lake from early July to early September (12pm–6pm), a children's playground, sports pitches (football, basketball, beach volley, pétanque), fishing, lakeside walks, stand-up paddle and a discovery trail. Paying facilities are also available: an open-air swimming pool with slides and three basins, tennis and padel courts, an adventure course and paragliding.

The park includes the Espace Le Bois aux Dames, a cultural and sports venue with a 426-seat hall (1,100 standing) hosting concerts, plays and sporting events. Two bar-restaurants and picnic areas with toilets round out the offer, and the park is the starting point for family hikes along the Giffre and the inter-lake trail to Morillon.
