The Base de loisirs de la Beunaz is a recreational area set around a temperate natural mountain lake, located at 900 meters altitude in the Gavot region, in the municipality of Saint-Paul-en-Chablais. Lake Beunaz is a natural glacial-origin lake, characterized by temperate water around 16 °C, making it a popular swimming destination in Chablais.
Founded in 1951 by André Caza, a former European diving champion, the leisure complex retains today the pioneering spirit of its founder with the emblematic "orange star" that marks the site. Operated since 1995 by Indiana'Ventures, it offers a range of aquatic, land and aerial activities on a preserved natural site with reed beds and views of Dent d'Oche.
The site includes supervised swimming with a pool fed by lake water, diving boards of various heights, the famous Télébeune (aquatic zip-line inaugurated in 1959), an Indiana Parc tree-climbing course, water sports activities (canoe, pedalo, stand-up paddle), inflatable structures, trampolines, sports fields, as well as a restaurant and unusual accommodation (tree houses, tipis, yurts) to extend the experience.
From Évian-les-Bains (10 km, 15 min) or Thonon-les-Bains (15 km, 20 min): follow direction Bernex / Gavot region, then sign "La Beunaz" with orange star. Access via D21 then D52. Free parking on site.
Open in MapsBus line ÉVA'D 124 (Évian-les-Bains public transport) serves the municipality of Bernex. Stop La Beunaz near the leisure complex (check schedules and connections with ÉVA'D).
