What is Plage de Sciez-sur-Léman

Sciez-sur-Léman Beach is a municipal grassy and tree-lined beach on Lake Geneva, located in Sciez in the Bas-Chablais region at 375 m elevation. It adjoins Sciez's pleasure marina (450 berths, Blue Flag certified since 2009) and stretches along the southern shores of Lake Geneva, between Thonon-les-Bains and Yvoire.

The beach combines a shaded grassy area with a sandy swimming zone supervised in July and August by lifeguards. An amphibious bathing chair (tiralo) is available from the lifeguards to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility. The beach has a dedicated swimming area for dogs (right side facing the lake), one of the rare Lake Geneva beaches to allow this.

The site is bordered by restaurants, brasseries and water sports schools (sailing, diving, boat rentals). A kiosk and automatic restrooms are on-site. Winter saunas on the waterfront complete the leisure offerings year-round.
